Studio Director Karin Hobby teaches classes of all levels and is the dynamic leader of all events at the studio. Read more about Karin here. 

Crystal Clackett returns to KHDANCE for her sixth teaching year. She has danced professionally with the Pavlova International Ballet in Italy and was part of the Aspirant Summer Program at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She holds her Advanced I Cecchetti Ballet Certificate and Advanced 2 Royal Academy of Ballet Certificate 2014 trained under Karin Hobby. Has studied Ballet, Contemporary, Modern and Jazz extensively at The Quinte Ballet School. She undertook BATD Tap exams and Russian ballet training in Toronto and Italy.  She is currently teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern at KHDANCE. Crystal is also a licensed Paralegal.

Stephanie Brown maintains a busy schedule as a KHDANCE ballet teacher whilst also performing as an Advanced dancer at KHDANCE and working in professional photography. Currently holds her Intermediate RAD Certificate and her Grade 8 Award with Distinction.  Performed in annual Nutcracker performances throughout London Elementary schools for the past 9 years. She manages the KHDANCE Social Media. Stephanie danced the TCHAIKOWSKY Pas Deux Deux Female solo 2017/18, the role of The Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Ursula in the KHDANCE production of Little Mermaid 2014, The Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland 2013, the role of Cinderella in the 2010 KHDANCE production and Dorothy in the 2011 KHDANCE The World of Oz production.

JULIANNE HOBBY Julianne Hobby has performed with major companies across Canada and the U.S., including The Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Mirvish Productions, Opera Atelier, The National Ballet of Canada and the North American Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz. Julianne is a graduate of the Professional Ballet/Academic program at Canada’s National Ballet School and the Music Theatre Performance program at Sheridan College. Other professional credits include television shows Reign and Motives and Murders.

LAURA CLAUSI  BKin Laura Clausi rejoins KHDANCE this year having completed her Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education through Laurier University and  her Teaching Degree through The Faculty of Education at Althouse College with Western University. She trained in Russian Ballet and later in RAD syllabus studies at KHDANCE. Laura belongs to the Ontario Teacher’s College and is now teaching with The London Public and the London District Catholic School Board in addition to her Dance Teaching at KHDANCE!

Ms Kaszuba rejoins KHDANCE this year for her fifth year. She holds her Gold Medal Ballet Award through The Western Conservatory of Ballet. Christina has a strong background in Drama having worked with Original Kids in London for many years. You may have seen her as The StepMother in Cinderella 2016, The Duchess in the KHDANCE production of Alice in Wonderland and in The 2014 production of Little Mermaid. She has also performed as Drosselmeier in KHDANCE Nutcracker. She enjoys working with the junior jazz and ballet having studied teacher training with Karin Hobby. She holds both a Bachelors and Master’s Degree and is currently in The Faculty of Education Second Year at Western University having completed earlier graduate studies at Western University.

Ms Kaplan returns to KHDANCE for her third year, with a strong background in Russian Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz. She was a competitive Dancer in Toronto with JCB Danceworks. She is currently in The Ivey Business School following her past studies in Management and Organizational Studies at Western University.

KELLY MACKAY Kelly joins KHDANCE teaching in the Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop divisions having taught and assisted in classes in Brampton at the Axis Dance Studio and for the City of Brampton. She was an active member last year in the Western University Dance Force and previously danced competitively finishing in the top ten soloists in the Showtime Dance Challenge Nationals 2017. She holds her Advanced Foundation Ballet Certificate with The Royal Academy of Dance as well as ADAPT Tap and Jazz levels. She is currently studying in her second year in The Bachelor of Medical Science at Western University.
