AIMEE GELDARD TTP Dip. (NBS), ARAD With decades of experience in teaching and performing, Aimee brings a wealth of knowledge and spirited passion to every dance class. A London native, Aimee spent nearly 30 years living in Toronto where she not only performed on stage and in film, she taught dance at various studios across the GTA including a 16-year tenure at Canada’s National Ballet School. A graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School Teacher Training Program, Aimee was honoured with the prestigious Betty Oliphant Award, granted to the NBS TTP graduate with the most promise as a teacher of classical ballet. During this three-year program, Aimee received her Associates in the Royal Academy of Dance, Cecchetti Method of Ballet and Historical Dance. Additionally, she is well-versed in the Vaganova method, which she both trained in and taught at NBS. Aimee’s stage career includes working with respected figures in Toronto’s dance community including Siona Jackson, Menaka Thakkar and Opera Atelier. Aimee was also a member of the Toronto based contemporary dance company OMO Dance Co. For four years, she performed with OMO throughout the GTA, with a standout moment being a tour of Macedonia in collaboration with the Republic of North Macedonia National Opera and Ballet. Alongside her stage experience Aimee has modelled, danced in and choreographed television commercials, assisted with professional dance photoshoots, and choreographed a music video. Aimee is thrilled to share her knowledge and be part of the KHDANCE family.

KELLY MACKAY Kelly received training in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre at Axis Dance Studio in Brampton, and danced competitively across Canada and the United States for over 12 years. She has completed ADAPT tap and jazz exams as well as numerous ballet exams, and holds her Advanced Foundation Ballet Certificate through the Royal Academy of Dance. Kelly holds her undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences and Psychology, and Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Western University. In addition to teaching as faculty at KHDANCE, she is a licensed Occupational Therapist. Kelly has been instrumental in the development of our tap and jazz programs and she is looking forward to another great year of teaching and dancing at KHDANCE!

KELSEY LEE Kelsey joined KHDANCE in 2018. She received her early dance training in Vancouver, B.C, studying RAD ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop, attending competitions locally and in the United States. She has completed all of her RAD graded exams and RAD vocational exams up to, and including, Advanced II. Kelsey has also trained in the ISTD ballet stream, completing all exams up to, and including, Advanced. She has attended many different dance conventions and performed in the 2010 Paralympic opening ceremonies, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (Vancouver) and at the Vancouver Pacific National Exhibition fair. Her university studies included time at Leeds University in the United Kingdom. Kelsey is currently a researcher at Western University, PhD candidate in the Occupational Therapy program, researching dance and Parkinson’s Disease. She is looking forward to returning for another exciting dance season with KHDANCE!

CAITLIN JAMIESON Caitlin Jamieson is a dedicated and passionate dance instructor with a love for movement and teaching. With years of experience in performing, Caitlin has trained in various styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, acro, musical theatre, and hip hop. She has had the pleasure to perform at several dance competitions, including Luv2Dance, Northern Stars, and Dance Attack. Over the years, Caitlin developed a particular passion for hip hop, inspired by her former dance teacher, and now brings her skills and techniques to teach at our facility. Her classes are crafted to be both challenging and enjoyable, encouraging students to push their limits while embracing the vibrant energy of this dance genre. Caitlin is excited for her second year teaching hip hop at the studio and looks forward to meeting new dancers in September!

GUEST ARTISTS Each year we welcome guest artists from Ballet Jorgen, and other professional companies when opportunities arise.


JULIANNE HOBBY Julianne Hobby, has performed with major companies across Canada and the U.S., including The Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Mirvish Productions, Opera Atelier, The National Ballet of Canada and the North American Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz, opening shows in Las Vegas and performing the leading role of Glinda at the Los Angeles Pantages Theatre. Julianne is a graduate of the Professional Ballet/Academic program at Canada’s National Ballet School and the Music Theatre Performance program at Sheridan College and has trained extensively with master teachers in New York City and London, England. A sought after teacher in Toronto, Julianne has enjoyed working with students at The Extension Room and in private coaching. Other professional credits include television shows Reign and Motives and Murders. As a solo artist, Julianne has released country album, Country Lungs, and holiday single “Snowfall”, available on music streaming platforms everywhere. Her original music has been featured on CBC radio and country stations in Ontario, and she has performed at commercial music venues across the country, including the Calgary Stampede.
